Our client in the Steel Manufacturing business is seeking to employ a suitably qualified External Sales Representative.
Minimum Requirements:
1year or more recent sales experience, reselling of mild steel and tube is essential
MerSETA, (boilermaker) graduate
Valid driver’s license
Knowledge of the steel and tube retail industry
Must have excellent communication skills
Good emotional intelligence
Ability to read and interpret drawings.
Strong trading and negotiating skills.
Strong ability to close a deal
Must be willing to travel
Duties and Responsibilities:
Service new and existing customers
Reach and exceed sales targets
Generate Quotations for customers
Build and maintain relationships with customers
Increase market share
Offer technical advice to Customers
Follow up on outstanding orders
Work closely with the sales team.
Produce a sales report as required
