The Role
This is a senior role supporting an Executive Director and business owner. The position requires a high level of trust, discretion, and autonomy, and will suit someone who is confident managing both complex business priorities and sensitive personal matters in a fast-moving environment.
The successful candidate will operate as a trusted partner, exercising strong judgement and proactively supporting the executive across a broad range of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
· Managing a complex, frequently changing diary across multiple priorities and time zones
· Acting as a key point of contact between the executive and internal and external stakeholders
· Preparing high-quality presentations, reports, and meeting packs
· Coordinating local and international travel, itineraries, and logistics
· Managing correspondence and communication in a professional and confidential manner
· Tracking actions, following up proactively, and ensuring timely delivery on commitments
· Handling personal and private matters with discretion and sound judgement
· Anticipating needs, identifying potential issues, and resolving them independently wherever possible
What We’re Looking For
· Minimum Grade 12 (a relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous)
· Minimum 8–10+ years’ experience supporting a senior executive, business owner, Managing Director, or equivalent
· Proven experience in a demanding, fast-paced environment with high standards
· Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
· A consistently high level of discretion, reliability, and professional judgement
· Clear, confident, and professional written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to engage effectively with a wide range of senior stakeholders
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage competing priorities
