SUMMARY:
Recruiting an Executive Manager – Support Functions to lead engineering support functions, driving Configuration Management, PLM, Product Safety, FMEA, compliance, governance, and continuous improvement within a high-tech engineering environment.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Lead the Support Functions Department and align activities with business strategy. Develop and maintain Configuration Management policies, standards, and processes. Oversee Configuration Management within the Teamcenter PLM environment. Govern Engineering Change Boards (ECB), Material Review Boards (MRB), and related engineering processes. Manage Product Safety systems and ensure compliance with legislative and industry requirements. Establish and drive FMEA methodologies across engineering projects. Manage the Request for Technical Information (RTI) process in line with Arms Control Act requirements. Ensure compliance with Safety Data Sheet (SDS) regulations. Oversee engineering software configuration and revision control. Develop and coordinate training on engineering support systems. Monitor compliance, drive continuous improvement, and provide strategic reporting to senior management. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and Project teams to ensure successful project delivery. Minimum Requirements BEng Degree (Chemical Engineering preferred). Minimum 7 years experience in an Aerospace or Defence engineering development environment. Strong knowledge of: Configuration Management Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Engineering governance Engineering systems, standards, and procedures Proven leadership and people management experience. Strong project management, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.
