Job Purpose
The Executive: Branded Vouchers will lead the strategic development, execution, and growth of Blue Label’s branded prepaid voucher portfolio. This role is accountable for unlocking value across current and emerging markets, driving innovation, and establishing competitive differentiation. The role also encompasses exploring international expansion opportunities and aligning the voucher strategy with broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution (30%)
Develop and implement a comprehensive roadmap for branded vouchers
Align voucher strategy with overall BLD and Blue Label Telecoms (BLT) group goals
Champion innovation and thought leadership
Build and nurture a high-performance team
Oversee financial performance and ensure business sustainability
Collaborate cross-functionally to support product growth
Report progress regularly to the CEO and executive team
Manage technical project delivery end-to-end
Partner Optimisation & Growth (30%)
Understand and address consumer and redemption partner needs
Build and maintain strategic partnerships
Drive sales across direct and indirect channels
Identify and penetrate new market segments locally and internationally
Lead and grow a client-centric commercial team
Product Lifecycle Leadership (15%)
Manage product development from ideation to launch
Evaluate and implement fintech solutions in the prepaid space
Work with tech and leadership to enhance product offerings
Marketing & Brand Management (25%)
Track and analyse market and competitor trends
Develop a compelling brand and marketing strategy
Lead a collaborative, innovative, and accountable team culture

Education
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field
MBA (preferred)
Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Fintech or Prepaid
At least 2 years in an Executive leadership role
Proven success in running or owning a large-scale Vouchering/Fintech business
