In this role, you will lead business integrity in a major country and/or across multiple countries, identify business needs and lead implementation for compliance and integrity learning. You will direct compliance investigations and make determinations on them, and lead and advise the business on risk intelligence, anticipating and addressing internal and external factors.
How you will contribute
You will develop and implement a compliance and integrity program to promote legal and ethical behavior, establish a culture of compliance and integrity, and protect and enhance the company’s reputation. Using various forums (, the Risk, Controls and Compliance Assurance Committee), you will assess risk intelligence and implement methods (, risk profiles) to ensure that management is making reasonable and informed decisions regarding compliance risks.
In addition, you will develop and deploy compliance and integrity training and oversee or conduct compliance Investigations in accordance with applicable policies and guidelines
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career with experience and knowledge in:
A degree and background in law, internal controls, audit, regulatory affairs, corporate affairs, security, HR, quality, or similar area
Significant experience assessing, advising, and training on ethics and compliance topics such as anti-bribery and corruption, particularly FCPA, competition law, kickbacks, investigations, employee relations, training, communications, enterprise risk management, advising/coaching and dispute resolution in a multinational company
Highest level of integrity and trust; highly credible and willing to express it
Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated experience navigating and presenting at all levels of organization, especially senior management, in a collaborative environment
Proactive style with ability to reply quickly to incidents while maintaining a sense of collaboration
Job Purpose
Support Head of Ethics & Compliance for AMEA in driving both the Global Ethics and Compliance (E&C) Program and customizing the Program to address additional locally specific risk relevant components.
This will be achieved through:
Ongoing promotion of the Code of Conduct and its 10 Guiding Principles through active and regular training as well as establishing strong trusted partnerships with SSA Senior Leadership and Middle Management in setting the Compliance Culture and role modelling our values.
Continual Risk Management of the Program through risk event identification and monitoring partnered through effective stakeholder management with key functions (particularly Internal Audit and Controls, Legal, Finance, MSC and Supply Chain and People Team)
Ensuring the comprehensive and timely execution of the Compliance investigations process through stewardship and co-ordination with functional investigation resources who are generally not full-time investigators involved in the investigation process and aligning case resolution with local management within SSA geographies and functions.
Support in delivery of the Global Ethics and Compliance annual strategic objectives under our Vision 2030 targets

Develop and implement a holistic Ethical and Compliance program for SSA designed to promote legal and ethical behavior, embed and enhance a culture of compliance and integrity, and protect and enhance the BU’s reputation within AMEA.
The program will focus on the Compliance group’s key areas:
Training, Investigations, and Risk Intelligence. Adapt as appropriate and implement global and regional Compliance and Integrity initiatives
