PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
FullServe Services, a facilities management company looking for an estimator will be responsible for technical price estimations/ and complete BOQ’s for following types of works (Electrical Construction, HVAC, Security, and Cleaning).
Functions:
❑ Prepare thorough and complete cost estimates for enquiries / contracts
❑ Review tender documents and project specifications in detail
❑ Use tender/bid data to prepare detailed cost analysis and BOQ’s
❑ Obtain quotes from suppliers
❑ Prepare quotes according to spec
❑ Attend tender briefings, occasionally on site, as and when required
❑ Analyse data such as labour costs, equipment, materials, subcontracts, overheads, insurance, and any other costs that affect the contracts
❑ Compiling and recording actual costs
❑ Prepare quotes for general telephonic enquiries
❑ Follow up on orders and liaise with the client accordingly
❑ Obtain and collate information for tenders
❑ Assist Contract Managers with claims as and when required
❑ Assist Contract Managers cost advice and price information during all stages of the contract
❑ Maintaining electronic filing systems on all enquiries
REQUIREMENTS
❑ Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying
❑ Professional Registration will be added advantage
❑ 3-5 years of experience
❑ Proficiency in mathematics, statistics, and data analysis
❑ Expertise with analytic tools such as spreadsheets and database managers
❑ Ability to read and interpret technical documents
❑ Ability to manage multiple tender enquiries
❑ Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.
❑ Exceptional time management skills
❑ Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
❑ Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
❑ Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
❑ Valid Driver’s License
