Overview
Job Title: Estimator
Hire Resolves client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimator to join their team in Airport Industria, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating within the construction industry, particularly in the airport sector.
Responsibilities:
Analyse project specifications and blueprints to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating
Conduct site visits to assess project requirements
Prepare detailed take-offs and material quantities
Evaluate subcontractor quotes and negotiate pricing
Develop detailed cost breakdowns and project schedules
Communicate with clients to provide estimates and address any questions or concerns
Monitor and track project costs throughout the construction process
Provide support to the project team as needed
Requirements:
Degree/diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
At least 5 years’ experience as an Estimator
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the estimating function in the construction industry.
Minimum 5 years on site experience in the construction industry.
