The successful candidate will be responsible for marketing, promoting and facilitating the drafting of Wills, while building strong relationships with clients and helping them understand the importance of having a valid and properly structured Will.

Role Overview
The Wills & Estate Planning Advisor will be responsible for generating awareness of the importance of Wills and estate planning, identifying prospective clients and facilitating the drafting and completion of Wills.
The individual will engage with individuals, families, employees, organisations and community groups to educate them about the importance of having a valid Will and ensuring that their wishes are properly documented.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Marketing Wills and estate planning services.
- Identifying and generating new prospective clients.
- Conducting presentations and awareness campaigns on the importance of Wills.
- Prospecting through face-to-face engagement, networking, referrals, events and other marketing channels.
- Engaging with clients to understand their estate planning requirements.
- Facilitating the collection of the information required for Will drafting.
- Assisting clients through the Will drafting process.
- Ensuring that client information and instructions are accurately captured.
- Coordinating the completion, signing and execution process of Wills in accordance with applicable requirements and Metrosure procedures.
Marketing & Business Development
A key component of the role will be creating awareness and generating demand for Wills and estate planning services.
The successful candidate will be expected to actively market the service through:
- Individual client appointments.
- Workplace and employee campaigns.
- Corporate presentations.
- Partnerships and professional networks.
- Educational presentations and Will-awareness initiatives.
The objective is to make Estate planning accessible and understandable to ordinary South Africans and encourage individuals to take action to protect their families and estates.

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Sales, marketing, financial services, legal or customer-service experience will be advantageous.
- Previous experience in estate planning, Wills, insurance or financial services will be advantageous.
- Ability to conduct client meetings and presentations.
- Computer literacy.
- Reliable transport will be advantageous for field-based activities.
