Entry-Level Restoration Technician – Water & Fire Damage (Paid Training) Jobs in Upton, MA at Craftech Restoration
Craftech Restoration is hiring an Entry-Level Restoration Technician to help homeowners and businesses recover after water, fire, mold, and other property damage.
You will work alongside experienced technicians on residential and commercial job sites, helping with water cleanup, demolition, drying equipment, documentation, and job-site setup.
No restoration experience is required. We provide hands-on training, safety equipment, and a clear path to build a career in water and fire restoration.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with water-damage cleanup, extraction, demolition, and job-site setup
- Set up, monitor, move, and remove drying equipment
- Help take job-site photos, moisture readings, and daily notes
- Remove damaged materials and assist with cleaning, containment, and job-site protection
- Load, unload, clean, and maintain restoration equipment
- Help keep company vehicles, equipment, and job sites clean and organized
- Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, coworkers, and supervisors
- Participate in paid training and learn Craftech’s restoration procedures
- Assist experienced technicians with other restoration-related work as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Dependable person who shows up on time and takes pride in their work
- Comfortable performing active, physical work in homes and businesses
- Willing to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team
- Able to safely lift, carry, and move equipment and materials
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to report to our Upton, MA location
- Comfortable working occasional overtime when needed
- Able to participate in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule
- Construction, demolition, cleaning, moving, maintenance, or other hands-on experience is helpful, but not required
On-Call Requirement
This position participates in a paid, rotating after-hours on-call schedule, approximately one week every four weeks. During your assigned week, you must be available to respond to emergency water-loss calls outside normal work hours. Any applicable overtime is paid in addition to your regular hourly rate.
