Engineering Draughtsman – Solidworks

Salary: R30 000 – R40 000
CTC
Generation of new drawings, using CAD in 3 –D.
Provide input to the design and development process for new components.
To provide technical assistance.
Reporting anomalies on customer-supplied drawings to management for review / change.
Updating drawing changes on the drawing change history record.
Providing assistance to Drawing Office Manager.
Generation of detail drawings for manufacturing.
General office admin.
Perform duties as required by Management as requested
Always to be on the lookout for improvement opportunities.
Running FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to calculate Stresses and deflection within manufactured products.
Minimum requirements:
Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering
Competent in Solidworks
Competent in FEA Analysis
3 to 5 years Draughting Experience
