Role Summary

The End User & Chromebook Support Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end support of Google Workspace, ChromeOS devices, and Nutun’s Chromebook ecosystem. The role serves as the primary technical resource for Nutun agents onboarding, device deployment, day-to-day troubleshooting, and operational support within the business. Working closely with agents and operational teams, the engineer provides hands-on support, resolves complex technical issues, and ensures users remain productive throughout their employment lifecycle. The role also acts as the subject matter expert for Chrome Enterprise technologies while supporting collaboration platforms, video conferencing solutions, and executive stakeholders where required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Agent Enablement, Onboarding & End-User Support
  • Own Day 0 device preparation and provisioning for new hires, including Chromebook setup, enrollment, policy application, and readiness validation.
  • Conduct Day 1 onboarding support with agents, ensuring successful access to all required systems, applications, peripherals, and Google Workspace services.
  • Perform workstation setup, troubleshooting, and post-onboarding validation.
  • Provide ongoing technical support throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, application, authentication, and connectivity issues impacting agent productivity.
  • Partner with Operations, Training, Workforce Management, and IT teams to ensure seamless onboarding and operational readiness.
  • Maintain onboarding checklists, support documentation, and knowledge articles.

Chromebook & ChromeOS SME

  • Act as the primary escalation point for ChromeOS-related issues.
  • Serve as the primary technical escalation point for Nutun agents, Team Leaders, Trainers, and Operational Support teams experiencing Google workspace or Chromebook-related issues.
  • Work directly alongside agents to investigate recurring, intermittent, or complex technical issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis of recurring end-user incidents and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Identify trends impacting agent productivity and collaborate with internal teams to drive improvements.
  • Provide floor-walking support and hands-on troubleshooting in operational environments.

Executive & VIP Support (Secondary Responsibility)

  • Provide support to executives and VIP stakeholders when required.
  • Support business-critical meetings, presentations, and collaboration technologies,
  • Ensure minimal disruption to senior leadership and client-facing activities.

Video Conferencing & Collaboration Support

  • Support Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and conference room technologies.
  • Configure and troubleshoot meeting room equipment.
  • Support webcams, speakers, microphones, and video conferencing systems.
  • Assist with executive town halls, client visits, training sessions, and virtual events.
  • Provide on-site support during critical meetings and presentations.
  • macOS, Windows & Mobile Device Support
  • Provide basic support and troubleshooting for macOS, Windows, and mobile devices.
  • Assist users with software installation, configuration, and device setup.
  • Resolve hardware, application, authentication, connectivity, and performance-related issues.
  • Support printers, peripherals, user accounts, password resets, and access requests.
  • Coordinate device repairs, replacements, and lifecycle support where required.
  • Escalate advanced endpoint, operating system, or infrastructure-related issues as appropriate.

Basic Networking Support

  • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity issues.
  • Perform basic diagnostics involving:
  1. TCP/IP
  2. DNS
  3. DHCP
  4. VLANs
  5. VPN Connectivity
  6. Wireless Access Points (Fortinet AP’s)
  • Work with network engineers to resolve escalated infrastructure-related issues.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

  • Advanced ChromeOS and Chromebook troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Chrome Enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of: Organizational Units (OU)
  • Chrome Policies
  • Device Enrollment
  • Google Identity
  • MFA & Security Keys
  • Google Meet
  • Google Endpoint Management
  • Knowledge of video conferencing technologies and meeting room support.
  • Basic macOS support knowledge.
  • Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Google Workspace Administrator Certification.
  • ChromeOS Administrator experience.
  • YubiKey deployment and management experience.
  • Experience supporting BPO or enterprise environments.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership teams.
