Leading manufacturer is seeking a Electrical Technician who has three years + experience working in an enviroment with similiar duties and responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Wiring and assemble of electrical panels, ensuring proper connections
Work with contractors, overseeing electrical installations and ensuring compliance.
Following up on due dates and tracking/scheduling.
Troubleshoot and install electrical and automation systems
Working with SCADA systems
PLC programming. Delta
Ordering/buying from suppliers
Use Excel for data entry, reporting, and documentation
Ensure projects are completed and done with safety
Work in a team environment
REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12
Tertiary qualification in Automation or Electrical Engineering
Relevant certifications (for example: Electrical Wiring, PLC Programming etc)
Working knowledge of electrical codes and standards
3 years experience working in a similar role
Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics
Hands-on experience wiring panels and troubleshooting electrical systems
Familiarity with working with contractors
Be computer literate and proficiency in Excel for documentation, tracking, and reporting
PLC programming experience preferred
