Introduction
We are seeking a qualifies, skilled and reliable Electrician to support the installation and maintenance of electricals. The successful candidate will work on electrical infrastructure, ensuring high-quality installations and compliance with safety standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Perform wiring, cabling, and connections.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of electrical circuits to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure compliance with South African electrical regulations and safety standards (SANS).
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Valid Electrician Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical installations.
- Knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, and battery storage systems is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with South African electrical codes and standards (SANS 10142-1).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to work on-site in Johannesburg.
- Physically fit and able to work at heights or in outdoor conditions.
