A prominent designer and contractor of water technology in Africa, based in Gauteng, seeks your expertise in technicalleadershipfor EPC execution & the development of departmental procedures. Key functions include:
Building and leading a high-performing mechanical engineering team.
Guidance & mentoring.
Support across multiple disciplines to foster acollaborativeworking environment that includes MEICA disciplines, project managers, and internal and external clients.
Collaborating with external structural engineers to ensure compliance with project contractual obligations.
Conducting risk assessments.
Maintaining quality standards.
Guaranteeing that engineering outputs are delivered punctually and within budget.
Essential Requirements for the Role
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering/ comparable qualification.
Registered as aProfessional EngineerorProfessional Engineering Technologistwith the ECSA.
EPC execution and development essential.
A decade of pertinent project experience, ideally within the Water and Wastewater Sector and/or the mining industry.
Adequate experience in on-site project execution and commissioning activities.
Comprehensive understanding and practical experience in the application ofISO/IEC standards
