Position: Electrical Engineer / Resident Engineer
BTech / BEng Engineering (mechanical / electrical)
Experience :
5 + Years (related experience) / GOVERNMENT CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCY
Skills and competencies :
The candidate must have previous site experience either in the construction sector or mining sector.
Metallurgical ore processing experience
Sound knowledge of environmental legislation and requirements
Familiar with all ISO systems
Main Responsibilities :
To provide operational service to the Mine Manager
Carrying legal appointment
Ensure maintenance to standards
Ensure the operational movement of men, material and ore
Ensure construction to standard
Provide technical advice to the projects department
Maintenance, operation of assets and operational management of logistical requirements
Maintenance of assets
Site specific standards interpretation of the legal standards
Determining work priorities
Calling out specialist expertise when problems occur
Remuneration :
Preference will be given to HDSA (Historically Disadvantaged South African) applicants.
