Qualifications and Skills
Grade 12.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Detail oriented.
Ability to follow instruction.
Highly motivated individual with strong self-management skills.
High level of trustworthiness and ethical conduct.
The daily physical demands are those required of an electrical assistant.
The candidate must be physically fit.
The person will be required to travel to sites.
Responsibilities
Dig holes and trenches, plant poles and lay cables in trenches.
Chase and cut walls and concrete floors for conduit.
Strip redundant installations and equipment incidental thereto from which the supply cables have been removed.
Clean office and worship areas.
Prepare refreshments.
Install and fix flush and surface mounted wire ways and ancillary equipment thereto.
Install cables including the fitting of glands, making off and securing such cables, but excluding the connection thereof.
Being able to do trenching / digging for cable installation.
