Job Description
We’re looking for a highly proactive and agile eCommerce Product Coordinator to take ownership of the day-to-day operations of our website(s). In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the administrative process of product photography, ensuring seamless coordination between teams to deliver high-quality visuals. You’ll also maintain the product catalogue, aligning it with marketing and promotional activity, while leveraging optimisation tools to enhance the customer experience. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll proactively source and update product-related content to drive engagement, conversions, and sales.

Key Duties
Set up and maintain product catalogues – including product names, descriptions, attributes, images, and videos.
Manage website navigation – ensuring alignment with product assortments and brand strategies.
Configure and manage campaigns, promotions, and launches – in line with agreed marketing and content calendars.
Provide, check, and update product lists for relevant teams – to ensure accurate and aligned content as needed.
Optimise website search and keywords – to align with customer expectations and drive conversion.
Leverage AI and personalization tools – including sorting rules and product recommendations.
Conduct regular QA and website audits – ensuring content is accurate, up-to-date, and of the highest standard.
Respond to customer, internal, and external queries – troubleshooting issues effectively.
Support user testing – for website enhancements and project implementations as needed.
Job Requirements
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications
At least 2-5 years’ experience in a similar position
Matric and related tertiary education in digital/ eCommerce
High-level understanding of web design and web analysis
Experience with eCommerce platforms, Google Analytics & SEO
Knowledge of digital marketing channels such as PPC, SEO, display & affiliate marketing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically MS Excel)
Domain knowledge in eCommerce, retail, online advertising and/or analytics
Competencies
