Our client in the Hospitality industry is seeking to employ a Duty Manager to join their team based in Port Elizabeth.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements: Formal Hotel Qualification or equivalent. Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry. Experience in both Front Office and Food and Beverage operations. Ability to work various shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and split shifts. Valid driver’s license and reliable transport. Ability to train, motivate, and supervise staff. Computer literacy, including experience with hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office. Ability to manage cash handling procedures and daily reconciliations. Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards. Ability to oversee daily hotel operations and ensure service standards are maintained. Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel. Ensure exceptional guest service is consistently delivered. Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests efficiently. Support and supervise all operational departments. Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards. Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management. Conduct daily operational checks and duty management reports.
