Job brief

An established company in Cape Town is seeking for a Drone Operator Assistant. A dangerous goods drivers permit will be beneficial. The successful candidate will report to the Drone Operator.

Responsibilities

Will assist with Inspecting of the surrounding environment for signs of pest infestation
Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate pests
Take the required measurement of the area in need of treatment
Use different pest control & commodity fumigation methods
Apply pesticide safely in surrounding environment

Requirements and skills

Proven work experience of 1 years as a Grain & Commodity Fumigator and Pest control tasks and general
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Well, presented
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Fluent in Afrikaans, English
Must have Grade 12
Positive and energetic
Self-motivated
Trustworthy
Must possess physical stamina and be able to withstand harsh conditions
Ability to stand for an extended period of time and work in uncomfortable environments
Must be detailed oriented and be able to follow detailed instructions in applying pesticide to avoid harm to the client and self
Must possess good customer service skills and be customer-focused
Strong ability to keep good records of hours worked, chemicals used
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
working hours will be flexi hours as the company might require that you work late at night, early mornings, weekends and public holidays as per Company operation requirements.
Jobs might be performed in all regions in South Africa as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R8 000,00 – R10 000,00 per month
