We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting waste materials to designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
– Safely and efficiently transport waste materials to designated locations – Ensure all waste materials are properly loaded and secured on the vehicle – Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while operating the vehicle – Conduct daily pre and post-trip inspections of the vehicle – Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate department – Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and pickups – Communicate with dispatch and other team members to coordinate routes and schedules – Assist with loading and unloading of waste materials when necessary – Provide exceptional customer service to clients and maintain a positive company image – Follow company policies and procedures at all times
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent – Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record – Minimum of 2 years of experience as a professional driver – Knowledge of traffic and safety regulations – Ability to operate various types of vehicles, including trucks and vans – Good communication and customer service skills – Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds – Familiarity with the Johannesburg area is a plus
Working Conditions:
