SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform various tasks relating to the transportation of goods.
Perform deliveries and/or collections as and when required.
Operate and maintain records.
Adhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system.
Perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by direct line manager.
Ensure cleanliness of company vehicles.
Assist lab personnel with general duties, box coordination, sample storage, and removal.
Assist with monthly composite preparations.
General upkeep of the sample storage and sample discarding area.
Assist with waste management.
COMPLIANCE & AUTHORITY
Cease the use of any equipment that may be deemed to constitute a safety hazard or entry to hazardous environments without the necessary knowledge and protection, and take action to address the hazard.
Cease to carry on with work that may affect the quality (integrity) of services and take action to address the issue.
Initiate a formal improvement request when a deviation of the system occurs, possible improvements are identified, or when nonconformity is identified.
Qualifications:
Education
Senior certificate (Matric).
Valid driver’s license.
Experience
Minimum 3 years driving experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Good knowledge of the North West region.
Ability to read maps/GPS.
Ability to read and write.
Professional.
Willing to work overtime.
Flexible.
