Position: Driver (3501 – 9000 Kg) – BUCO Walker Drive
Job Description:
BUCO Port Elizabeth is looking for an experienced driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods, maintaining vehicle standards, and providing excellent customer service. Your key responsibilities include:
Delivering Goods: Ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to customers.
Vehicle Maintenance includes keeping the vehicle neatly packed and in good condition, performing daily inspection checks, and reporting defects.
Loading Assistance: Supervising and assisting with loading to ensure goods are correctly loaded and secured.
Damage Prevention: Handling goods carefully to avoid damages and breakages during transportation.
Delivery Documentation: Ensuring delivery notes are properly authorized and collecting COD payments where necessary.
Customer Service: Delivering excellent customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
Cost Management: Working to reduce costs associated with vehicle maintenance and operational inefficiencies.

Requirements:
Qualification: Grade 12 (Matric)
Licenses: Code 10 (Heavy Vehicle) or Code 8 (Light Vehicle) (
