Job Description
We are seeking a Driver Assistant for our liquor distribution team in Garden Route, George. The role involves assisting with loading, unloading, and ensuring the timely delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities :
Report on time to ensure delivery schedule deadlines are met.
Conduct effective daily handovers of deliveries from the warehouse to your vehicle.
Pack deliveries accurately according to schedule, avoiding damage to goods.
Possess your tablet and completed paperwork for all deliveries before departing the warehouse.
Perform stock deliveries and collections as per schedules or instructions from the Supervisor/Manager, ensuring correct and timely deliveries.
Interact courteously with customers to encourage repeat business.
Record current or defective wine as per upliftment paperwork instructions.
Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle daily.
Report any vehicle accidents or incidents immediately to the Supervisor/Manager, managing the situation as per SOP.
Dress appropriately according to the uniform policy and maintain a professional appearance.
