Job Summary
The Driver is responsible for safely operating a company box truck to complete local deliveries and pickups. This role ensures timely and accurate delivery of goods, assists with loading and unloading, and maintains compliance with safety and DOT requirements. The Driver also supports warehouse operations when not on deliveries, helping to maintain overall operational efficiency.
Duties
- Safely operate a company box truck for local deliveries and pickups
- Follow routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling
- Verify accuracy of shipments and deliveries
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report issues
- Maintain cleanliness and condition of the vehicle
- Track deliveries, mileage, and required documentation
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Provide professional service when interacting with customers and team members
- Drive beyond local routes as needed; eligible travel reimbursed per company policy
- Support fulfillment operations when not on deliveries
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL not required)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous driving or delivery experience preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with deadlines
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws
- Ability to operate a box truck safely
- Ability to follow routes and delivery instructions
- Ability to load, unload, and secure products
- Ability to complete basic records accurately
- Ability to manage time and work independently
Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
