TRS Staffing solutions has a vacancy, for an immediate start, at its
Vanderbijlpark site within the Production / Manufacturing division for the
position of
Draughts Person
Your tasks
Take actual measurements of components to be re-engineered and use
dimensions to create actual drawings
Create manual drawings according to a design and / or use software
packages – AutoCAD or Solidworks
Work closely with
Quality Control
Inspector & conduct general inspections
and quality checks on manufactured pieces
Assist the Design Engineer with the generation of drawings.
Responsible for the approval of the drawings
Record keeping of drawings electronically
Registration of all drawing documents
Health, Safety & incident investigation participation if the incident should
be due to drawing errors
Your qualification
Minimum National Diploma Mechanical Engineering of higher qualification
will be acceptable
Proficient in the use of Auto Cad and Solidworks programmes
ISO 9001 exposure
OHS Training
Relevant working experience as a draughts person with a traceable track
record
