Position: Door to Door Sales / Team Leader (Sharpeville Phase 1, 2 &3)

Location: Vereeniging

The External Fibre Sales Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and managing a team of sales representatives who engage directly with customers at their homes. As a Team Leader, you are tasked with ensuring that the team meets sales goals/targets, and maintaining high levels of motivation and performance within the group.

This role involves direct interaction with residents through door-to-door sales efforts, requiring effective communication and a customer-focused approach. Effective communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to inspire and lead a team are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Door-to-Door Sales:
Engage with residents in assigned communities to promote and sell fibre internet services, effectively communicating the benefits and features of our offerings.

Team Management:
Ensure the team meets sales goals/targets, and maintain high levels of motivation and performance within the group.

Walking Routes:
Follow designated walking routes to maximize coverage and reach potential customers within the community.

Educational Outreach:
Educate potential customers about the advantages of our fibre internet services and answer any questions or concerns they may have.

Feedback Reporting:
Provide detailed feedback and insights after each shift, including customer interactions, concerns, and market trends.

Working Hours:

Work between 15:00 and 19:00 from Monday to Friday and between 08:00 and 12:00 on Saturdays.

Sales Reporting:
Accurately record and upload sales data into both client systems and our internal systems for tracking and reporting purposes.

Customer Relationship Building:
Foster positive relationships with potential customers and leave a favourable impression of the company.

Qualifications and Skills:

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Self-motivated and able to work independently

Ability to walk for extended periods and follow designated routes

Sales or customer service experience is a plus

Reliable and punctual

Strong leadership skills

Reporting Structure:

The External Fibre Sales Team Leader will report directly to our Sales Operations Team, to provide feedback on the team’s performance.
