Position Overview: Dishwasher Opportunity
Pay Structure
· Hourly rate: $13 to $16 per hour, based on experience and availability.
Position Responsibilities
· Dishwashing Excellence: Efficiently clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans, ensuring items are always ready for service and meet our high standards of cleanliness.
· Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain dishwashing machinery, monitoring for proper function and promptly reporting issues to kitchen management.
· Workstation Organization: Keep dishwashing and storage areas neat, organized, and free from clutter, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
· Support Kitchen Operations: Assist chefs and cooks by providing clean kitchen tools and equipment as needed to keep service flowing smoothly during busy periods.
· Waste Management: Manage trash and recycling, ensuring all materials are disposed of properly and workspaces are free from debris.
· Inventory Assistance: Help with receiving and organizing kitchen deliveries, stocking supplies in designated areas, and monitoring consumables for restocking needs.
· Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow kitchen team members to support their tasks and foster a positive, cooperative atmosphere.
· Adaptability: Show flexibility in responding to changing needs and occasional requests for help with food prep, deep cleaning, or special events.
Qualifications & Skills
· Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
· Promptness and reliability for scheduled shifts.
· Willingness to learn and adapt to new cleaning techniques and kitchen protocols.
· Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to helping others.
· No prior experience required—training will be provided.
