Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our busy kitchen team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are sanitized and ready for use. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to support the culinary team in delivering excellent food service. No prior experience is necessary, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key!
Duties
- Operate dishwashing machines and manual cleaning stations to thoroughly clean dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools.
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all items meet health standards and prevent cross-contamination.
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and transporting used dishware to the kitchen for cleaning.
- Help maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and organizing storage areas regularly.
- Handle heavy lifting of pots, pans, and large quantities of dishware safely and efficiently.
- Follow all kitchen health and safety standards to promote a safe working environment for everyone.
