DSP – Work Readiness Achievement Program (WRAP)
The Arc of Monmouth supports and empowers individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities (I/DD). We are seeking a qualified person to join our organization.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.46
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Work with participants in the Work Readiness Achievement Program in both group and one on one settings.
- Follow the program curriculum to provide work readiness skills.
- Assist teaching and mentoring adults with intellectual disabilities in a variety of classes.
- Engage individuals during classes to ensure participation in class activities as well as comprehension and understanding of course material.
- Assist in teaching participants to gain marketable employment skills, and develop life skills, as well as a stronger sense of social awareness.
- Create supplemental class work for clients.
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
- Transport participants to volunteer and community inclusion events.
- Teach and monitor participants at volunteer and community events.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required
One Year of Experience working with individuals with disabilities, however we will train the right person.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable record for the Arc and its insurer.
