Location: South Neighborhood (Case and Holden Halls)
Starting Pay Rate: $14.73/hour
Basic/Brief Description
As a Dining Service Worker, you will be responsible for assisting full-time staff members with the preparation, cooking, and serving of food for all meal options for that venue. You must also be knowledgeable of all relevant food safety regulations, standards, and guidelines to ensure the safe handling and serving of all meals to customers. It is your job to make sure the guests of Culinary Services receive the most outstanding customer service.
Typical Duties May Include
- Cooking, preparing, and serving food in dining halls
- Kitchen clean up after meals are served
- Communicate with supervisors, managers, and other student team members to ensure customer assistance
- Coordinate with Student Supervisors job tasks to be completed each shift

Required Qualifications
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Demonstrated commitment to outstanding customer service
- Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
- Must be positive and respectful, especially when working with a diverse population
- Be able to work nights, early mornings, and/or weekends
- Must be able to move up to 10 pounds and stand for long periods of time

Physical Demands Work Hours
Shifts are scheduled between hours of 6:00am to 11:00pm, working a maximum of 25 hours per week. Nights and/or weekend shifts are required.
