What You’ll Do
Your primary focus will be on helping customers successfully place and complete direct mail orders through our AppealMaker software.
This includes:
- Chatting with customers before and after orders (online chat, email, occasional phone)
- Reviewing and proofreading customer-submitted mail pieces (copy and layout)
- Catching errors—spelling, formatting, alignment, missing info, etc.
- Helping customers fix issues so their campaigns succeed
- Supporting the team wherever needed (because that’s everyone’s job here)
This role blends customer support, detailed proofing, and light design awareness.
What Matters Most
You’ll do well here if you have a combination of these experiences/skills:
- Background in creative software like Adobe or Canva
- A basic understanding of printing
- Double-check everything before calling it “done.”
- Communicate clearly, especially in writing
- Stay calm when something goes wrong
- Take responsibility instead of pointing fingers
- Ask questions and seek to understand
- Look for ways to improve things—not just complete tasks

Helpful (But Not Required)
- Chat customer service experience (most communication is via Chat)
- Some experience in printing, direct mail, or marketing
- Any customer service or communication-heavy role
