Dietician and Clinical trial coordinator = Hybrid role Jobs in Cape Town at TREAD Research (PTY) LTD
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dietitian & Study Coordinator to join our team. This dual-role position requires expertise in nutrition and clinical study coordination, ensuring high-quality research execution and patient care.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans for study participants based on research protocols.
Educate participants on dietary requirements and monitor adherence to prescribed nutritional regimens.
Collaborate with investigators and healthcare teams to ensure research compliance with study guidelines.
Screen, recruit, and enroll study participants, ensuring informed consent procedures are followed.
Oversee study data collection, documentation, and entry into electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
Monitor study progress, ensuring adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate study visits, schedule appointments, and maintain organized study records.
Assist in the preparation of study reports, regulatory submissions, and Institutional Review Board (IRB) documentation.
Support patient safety by identifying and reporting adverse events as required.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
Registered Dietitian in South Africa.
Experience in clinical research, study coordination, or clinical trials is a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a research setting.
Familiarity with clinical trial management systems (CTMS) and electronic medical records (EMR) is advantageous.
