Job Description

Translates business requirements into detailed functional specifications for system implementations in the OMAR Life business units across Africa.

Responsibilities

  • Analysis of "As Is" and "To Be"

Document the most complex "as is" and "to be" processes and describe the changes required to migrate to the "to be" capability to record accurately the change required.

  • Data Collection and Analysis

Make authoritative recommendations that have a significant impact on the business over the short and long term. Recommendations could be technical or professional in nature.

  • Business Requirements Identification

Elicit complex business requirements using a variety of methods, such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis, to express the requirements in terms of target user roles and goals.

  • Requirements Management

Plan and coordinate the identification and elicitation of requirements; conduct analysis of those requirements for completion and alignment; document and manage requirements throughout the life of the project; and coordinate the verification of the end deliverable. Generally done at the project level.

  • Documentation and Backup

Create and maintain complex technical and/or user documentation to a high standard, and back up files to ensure instant recovery if problems occur.

  • Culture of Innovation

Drive a culture of innovation by creating multistakeholder solutions that boost creativity, innovation, and collaboration across business units, such as idea generation platforms, jam sessions, and hackathons.

Minimum Requirements:

Skills and Experience: 2-3 years’ work experience in DevOps technologies and active DevOps team participation

Relevant hands-on product skills and AWS certification
