MTS’s client in the Mining sector in the Free State is looking for several Desktop Engineers to form part of a Windows 11 rollout project on a contract basis. Candidates that have previously been involved in similar rollout projects are encouraged to apply should you meet the necessary requirements below. Own transport is also essential as this project would entail travelling if needed to satellite offices (Virginia, Welkom Tshepong, Joel) to assist users with training and testing user devices post-upgrade.
Responsibilities
Workstations Upgrade to Windows 11
Assessment of Compatibility and Windows 11 Installation
Post-Upgrade Testing and Verification
User Data Backed Up and Restored
Comprehensive Data Backup Prior to Upgrade
Data Restoration Post-Upgrade
Workstations Replaced and Configured (if needed)
Deployment and User Setup
