Dentist –Full Time Position

Clinical Functions:
Examine patients requesting care, diagnose dental and oral conditions, and prescribe appropriate treatment and referrals accordingly.
Provide general and advanced dental treatment not limited to pediatrics, prosthodontics, operative dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, periodontics, and orthodontics.
Record care provided in patients’ dental records to reflect accurate treatment methods.
Educate patients on oral health and promote good oral health practices.
Supervise dental assistants and support staff as needed to ensure excellent patient care delivery.
Performance Improvement Functions:
Lead and participate in dental initiatives to improve the quality and safety of the practice care delivery model.
Ensure the practice dental care standards meet SADA and HPCSA requirements.
Engage support team on improvement methods for patient retention and overall practice efficiency.
Understand the practice mission in all performance function areas.
Demonstrate commitment to, and understanding ofservice excellencestandards by modeling excellence in internal and external relationships, addressing service deficits, and performing all duties and responsibilities in the position.
Demonstrate a caring and helpful attitude when interacting with patients, vendors, and fellow employees.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Graduate from a South African Accredited Dental School.
Current andup-to-dateHPCSA registration.
Keen interest in areas of Endodontics, Orthodontics, and Oral Surgery.
Additional:
Demonstrate interest in learning and acquiring additional skills in preferred areas of dentistry.
Postgraduate Diploma is not a requirement; however, it can be an advantage.
Working Hours:
Mondays to Fridays: 09:00 – 17:00
Saturdays: 8:00 – 14:00
Remuneration to be discussed duringthe interview process.
