Dental 360 & Associates is seeking an EXPERIENCED, energetic, friendly, skilled, hard-working, dedicated and organized Dental Assistant to join our team. ! Spanish is preferred. Some of the job responsibilities include the following:
- Prepare rooms by sterilizing instruments and moving equipment into place
- Assist in updating and maintaining client dental records
- Perform routine dental cleanings and assist in the performance of more complicated surgical procedures
- Provide support to dentists and staff as needed
- Offer patients advice and materials necessary to maintain good dental health
- Prevent the spread of infection and disease by maintaining a clean work environment
- Assembles instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area, positioning instruments for dentist’s access, suctioning, and passing instruments
- Provides materials by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments and in the patient’s mouth
- Provides diagnostic information by taking digital xrays and pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts
- Any other tasks or duties as assigned
The ideal candidate should have the following:
- Minimum 1 year of Dental Assisting experience
- Dentrix Ascend experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 – $25.00 per hour
