About the Position:
mVerve’s Partner Company is seeking a skilled and motivated Denodo Developer to join their dynamic data integration team in South Africa. In this onsite role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing data virtualization solutions using the Denodo Platform. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy data virtualization solutions using the Denodo Platform.
Create and maintain virtual data models, including base views, derived views, and data services.
Optimize Denodo virtual data models for performance and scalability.
Develop and implement data governance and security policies within the Denodo environment.
Connect to various data sources, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, and APIs.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and Denodo platform performance.
Collaborate with data engineers to integrate Denodo with ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.
Work closely with business analysts and end-users to understand data requirements and translate them into Denodo solutions.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for Denodo solutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest features and best practices of the Denodo Platform.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Denodo Developer.
Proven experience using the Denodo Platform.
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (e.g., relational, dimensional).
Experience working with various data sources (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, cloud databases like Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery; REST APIs, SOAP).
Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages.
Experience with data governance and security concepts.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to R31Â 640,00 per month
