Demi Chef de Partie – Luxury Safari Lodge | Phalaborwa
Salary: Negotiable, dependent on experience
Live-In Position
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Demi Chef de Partie for a prestigious luxury safari lodge based in the heart of Limpopo. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring chef to work in a stunning natural environment, delivering world-class dining experiences to discerning guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing and presenting dishes to the highest standards
Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations
Maintain excellent hygiene and food safety standards at all times
Ensure consistency and quality of food across all sections
Contribute to menu planning and the creation of daily specials
Manage mise en place efficiently and with precision
Assist with stock rotation and control
Work closely with other kitchen and service team members
Requirements:
Formal culinary training or relevant qualification preferred
Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a luxury lodge or fine dining environment
A passion for food and willingness to learn and grow
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a remote location
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
High level of attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
Flexible and positive attitude towards work and responsibilities
This role is ideal for a motivated chef looking to gain further experience in a dynamic, high-end kitchen environment. The successful candidate will be exposed to a wide range of culinary skills and will be a key part of delivering unforgettable dining moments in a unique safari setting.
