REGION: Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg i.e. Sandton, Rosebank and Fourways
AREA: To be based out of our Johannesburg Office
OBJECTIVE: To ensure the effective implementation of the company’s sales strategy in Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg (Deluxe)
The successful candidate must have proven experience in the luxury on-trade environment, demonstrating a deep understanding of premium brand positioning, elevated service standards, and relationship-led selling within formal market settings.
- Must have Demonstrated experience within luxury on-trade (fine dining, premium hotels, exclusive hospitality venues).
- Strong customer understanding of the Sandton market, including established relationships or clear market insight (preferred).
- Ability to represent and build deluxe and prestige brands with credibility, professionalism, and brand sensitivity.
- Experience working with high-expectation customers, tailored activations, menu placements, and brand storytelling.
- Strong commercial acumen balanced with a luxury brand mindset.
The Key KPA’s for this role include (but not limited to):
Brand Availability and Sales Volumes:
- Achieve availability by channel, as per targets set
- Correct implementation of brand availability, by channel
- Ensure that brand equity is a key driver of all activity and activations
- Drive volume, through innovative ideas
- Drive volume, through brand prioritisation per channel
Promotions and Brand Visibility:
- Ensure that promotions are effectively implemented and within brand equity guidelines
- Ensure that the correct brands are promoted in the correct channels and outlets
- Ensure correct implementation of our National Promotions Strategy
- Manage ROI (return on investment) of promotions
- Ensure brand visibility is optimised through imagery, back room displays, staff uniforms, menus and specialised merchandise
Operational Excellence:
- Correctly implement and update call cycle
- Achieve 100% call rate as per the call cycle
- Ensure that all outlets are coded correctly
- Ensure all requirements are achieved during the rep call
- Correctly complete all administration and report requirements
Customer Interaction:
- Interact responsibly with consumers at all available opportunities
- Collect consumer information as per the brand target market
- Feedback consumer learning and expectations
Financial Asset Management:
- Quantity and cycle discount parameters adhered to
- Correct completion and timeous return of POD’s and credit notes
- Vehicle maintained and well cared for
- Vehicle mileage is within budget
- Responsible use of promotional stock
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 3 Year Tertiary Education (Beneficial)
- 3-Years Relevant experience – NB experience within FMCG / liquor industry experience
- Product, service knowledge and understanding of category management
- Knowledge of marketing and accounting principles
- Computer literate
- Ability to conceptualise and negotiate
- Customer orientation
- Sound interpersonal skills and creativity (big picture thinking)
- Team player and ability to work independently using initiative
- Endurance and ability to tolerate extended hours
