Capitol Glass has served customers in the Anchorage area for over 74 years providing Doors, Windows, and Glass products.
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing general warehouse activities, loading, unloading and transporting Glass, Windows, and Doors safely and efficiently – while providing excellent customer service. This role requires safety awareness, material handling, independent operation, and Customer Service skills. Typical Schedule is M-F 8AM-4:30PM
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including Glass Body trucks and Flat Beds.
- Navigate assigned routes to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
- Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and delivery times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including shipping/receiving, crating and organization.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Must be able to obtain a DOT CMV Medical Certificate to be eligible for role.
- Experience and knowledge of local roadways.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Physical ability to lift heavy packages and move items as required.
- Familiarity with operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous.

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
