2026 Fall PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
Get started on the right foot! The DEFC South Spring Recreational Program is a 7-week program designed for boys & girls between the ages of 3 and 11 as an introduction to the beautiful game. Sessions are run by DEFC Professional Staff Coaches with the assistance of volunteer parents.

- When you click a registration link above you will be taken to our registration system – Sprocket Sports.
- If you are a returning player/family you see available program registration links when you sign in. Select DEFC South 2026 Fall Recreational Program.
- If you are new to DEFC Click “Don’t Have An Account” in blue at that login screen. And follow the steps below:
- Enter your email address
- Enter your information
- You will then be sent a communication to verify your email address
- When you receive the email click – “Confirm My Email”
- You will then be taken to the login screen and click “Click here to login”
- You will then add the PLAYER information
- You will then have the opportunity to add an additional parent and/or guardian to the account
- Next you will see your player and on the right-hand side you will see available programs
- Select – “DEFC South 2026 Fall Recreational Program”
- Next click “Register” and follow the screen prompts
PROGRAM INFORMATION
Discovery Program: U4, U5, U6
This program is designed to introduce basic soccer skills or build on players’ skills in a fun environment. Coaches will introduce a new skill each week for players to develop and will then reinforce the skill through soccer-related games and activities. Our Discovery age groups will always end with activities centered around scoring goals, and our older U5/U6 ages will conclude with 4v4 scrimmages.
Under 8
Each session will include a skills building portion followed by 6v6 or 7v7 free play.
All sessions/games are on Saturdays. Exact time will be communicated prior to the start of the season.
Under 10
Each session will include a skills building portion followed by 6v6 or 7v7 free play.
All sessions/games are on Saturdays. Exact time will be communicated prior to the start of the season.
Under 12
Each session will include a skills building portion followed by 6v6 or 7v7 free play.
All sessions/games are on Saturdays. Exact time will be communicated prior to the start of the season.
Program Information
- All sessions run by DEFC staff coaches
- All registrants will receive a DEFC t-shirt/jersey
- For U5 and above we look to have gender specific groups, but may be coed depending on the number of registrants

- Depending on the number of registrants in the U8/U10/U12 age groups – teams may be formed and play a 6 game schedule
All Fall 2026 sessions will be held on Saturdays in Milton at our new facility at Hudson Fields – 29763 Eagle Crest Rd, Milton, DE 19968

Uniforms/Equipment
- All players will receive a DEFC t-shirt/jersey
- Soccer cleats are recommended
- Shin guards are required for U8 and above
- Soccer ball – sizes:
- TinyMites, MiniMites, DynaMites, U8 – Size 3
- U10, U12 – Size 4
REGISTRATION SCHEDULE

- Regular enrollment closes August 31st
