Deck & Porch Specialist Jobs in Yorktown, VA at Total Home Improvements
- Read and interpret blueprints, Layout jobs and finish schedules
- Familiar with all Deck & Porch codes
- Build, repair, and install decks, railings, stairs, and outdoor structures
- Construct screened‑in porches, covered porches, and custom outdoor features
- Frame and set posts, beams, joists, and supports according to code
- Install composite decking (Trex, TimberTech, Wolf) and traditional lumber decking
- Be familiar with and have the ability to install different rail systems
- Install exterior doors and windows, including hanging, fitting, weatherproofing, and hardware installation.
- Communicate clearly with project managers and homeowners
- Maintain a clean, safe jobsite and proper care of tools
- Wolf Certified Preferred
- 5+ years carpentry or residential remodeling experience preferred
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to multiple job sites in the region.
- Highly motivated, committed to quality, and reliable with strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour
