We are seeking a dedicated Debtors Clerk for a full–time, on-site role in Marble Hall. The successful candidate will be responsible for Various tasks related to invoicing, cash management, and customer service.
Minimum Requirements
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
Grade 12 or similar qualifications
3 years of experience in a similar position
Advanced typing and Accounting Skills
Customer Service and Computer Literate.
Strong personal integrity, honesty, and accountability
A commitment to upholding high standards and taking pride in your work
Duties and Responsibilities
Key performance areas (Duties and Responsibilities):
Proactively prepare and dispatch invoices to customers, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
Guarantee that all loads are invoiced in the correct sequence.
Effectively handle cash sales of goods and generate corresponding invoices without delay.
Diligently match invoices with order acknowledgments, batch reports, and key verifications (KV)
Systematically file all essential documentation related to invoicing and transactions
Generate and request credit notes as necessary
Accurately receive cash payments from customers, ensuring all transactions are meticulously documented.
Maintain a comprehensive bank deposit book for cash transactions,
Guarantee that cash is banked promptly before the month-end
Manage the Goods Received Note (GRN) process for incoming goods to ensure timely and accurate billing.
Ensure all loads are invoiced accurately before departing the premises.
Collaborate closely with the Admin Manager on finance-related initiatives, providing valuable insights and assistance.
Contribute to month-end procedures and reporting
Uphold and promote compliance with housekeeping and organizational standards.
Expertly oversee petty cash banking and reconciliation, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
Deliver outstanding customer service, addressing client inquiries regarding their accounts
