Ver-Tex Solutions, a respected leader in debt recovery since 2008, is hiring an experienced and dynamic Collections Agent. Our success is built on respect for clients, employees, and those we collect from, ensuring all business is handled professionally and effectively.
In this role, you’ll recover outstanding payments by communicating with debtors via phone, SMS, WhatsApp, and email. You’ll skillfully negotiate recurring payment plans and implement solutions to eliminate debt.
We’re Looking For:
Proficiency in collections software and computer literacy.
Strong business acumen and customer profiling ability.
Exceptional communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills for “Adult to Adult” conversations.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proven conflict management and dispute resolution abilities.
Solid understanding of collection policies and procedures.
A commitment to 98% call quality adherence.
A results-oriented individual with a passion for targets, strong time management, and stress resilience.
Someone self-led, disciplined, and capable of inspiring others.
Must-Haves:
Grade 12.
1 year Debt Collections experience.
Ability to ensure compliance with the Debt Collectors Act and POPI.
Debt Council registration is a plus!
Compensation:
Basic Salary: R5500
PLUS: Guaranteed monthly incentives up to R6500 (performance-based).
Monthly commission, settlement incentives, and top performer bonuses.
