Join Our Team
as a Head, Planning
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Head, Planning to lead our planning department. This role is critical in ensuring the effective preparation and scheduling of medium to long-term maintenance activities for operational crews. You will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing maintenance tasks, plans, and schedules, while ensuring that resources are effectively utilized.
As a key member of the team, you will also manage the forecasting and budgeting of maintenance activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. In addition, you will oversee the integrity of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring accurate and efficient data handling.
Your role will involve tracking and reporting the value of Physical Asset Management (PAM) initiatives, contributing to the realization of value through optimized asset performance.
Qualifications
Certificate Maintenance Planning & Sched (Essential / Minimum)
B Tech (Relevant) (Recommended / Desirable)
Experience
5 years relevant technical experience of maintenance within a heavy industry environment, with operational experience in maintenance, production, and maintenance management planning (Essential / Minimum)
Requirements
Psychometric Assessment (Essential / Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
Certificate of Fitness (Essential / Minimum) (To be conducted by Exxaro)
Competence: SAP Position Specific Module (Essential / Minimum)
Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure that the maintenance planning department has the capacity and competence to prepare and schedule medium to long-term maintenance work for the operational maintenance crews.
Analyze and optimize the maintenance tasks, plans, and schedules.
Prepare the forecasting and budget for maintenance activities.
Ensure the integrity of the Computer Maintenance Management System content and function.
Track and report on the value of Physical Asset Management initiatives.
Realize value through Physical Asset Management.
