Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards, including Montessori and preschool methodologies.
- Facilitate engaging lessons in literacy, math, physical education, and social skills to support holistic child development.
- Manage classroom routines, behavior management strategies, and classroom organization to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings or written updates.
- Support children with special needs or those requiring early intervention services by adapting activities and collaborating with specialists.
- Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure all safety protocols are followed, including first aid and CPR certification.
- Document children’s development progress using standardized testing tools and keep detailed records of daily activities and observations.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is a plus, but not required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
- Experience developing curriculum content that fosters literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning.
- Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention programs, and working with children who have diverse learning needs.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Classroom experience involving Montessori methods or other child-centered educational philosophies is a plus.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is highly valued.

Pay: $12.00 – $14.00 per hour
