PBT Group is looking for a Data Engineer to join our team. As a data engineer, you will be responsible for the development and optimization of data pipelines. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with experience in ETL tools like Data Stage to work with cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement robust ETL processes using IBM Data Stage.
Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines that integrate various data sources.
Work closely with data architects, analysts, and business teams to ensure data availability, quality, and consistency.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring efficient data flow and resolving any performance bottlenecks.
Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance standards are met.
Participate in system architecture discussions to improve scalability and performance.
Document workflows, processes, and data models.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on ETL processes.
Expertise with IBM Data Stage, including job design, debugging, and optimization.
Strong SQL skills with a good understanding of database design and architecture.
Experience working with large datasets and integrating data from multiple sources.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
