What You will Do
- Advocate and build data-fuelled products and solutions that help our customers improve their outcomes
- Dig in and become an expert on our clients’ datasets, providing insight into leading analytic practices
- Design and lead iterative learning and development cycles for data science solutions
- Prototype, develop, and improve machine learning software and models
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and project progress to clients and internal stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging technologies and apply them to solve real-world business problems
Qualifications
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science (BDatSci), Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering
- Alternatively, a degree in any closely related quantitative field
A Master’s or Honours degree in a relevant field is a strong advantage.
Required Skills
You must be able to program, with experience in:
- Strong Python skills
- SQL (any variant)
- Experience in another programming language is beneficial
- Experience in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS etc.
- Strong skills in Data Science and Data Analytics to design, implement, and evaluate machine learning and predictive models.
- Emerging technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs)
General experience:
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Design and architecture
- Client and project management
- Leading a project
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
You should have a working understanding of:
- SQL and NoSQL databases
- REST APIs
- Data processing and ETL pipelines
