As a Data Engineer through Techamana, you’ll design and build systems for collecting, storing, and analyzing data at scale. You’ll work with databases, data warehouses, and data processing frameworks to create efficient data pipelines.
Responsibilities
Design and build data pipelines for ETL and ELT processes
Optimize data storage and retrieval in data warehouses
Ensure data quality and consistency through validation and testing
Collaborate with analysts to understand and fulfill data requirements
Implement batch and real-time stream processing workflows
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Requirements
Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Python, Scala)
Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data orchestration (Airflow)
Knowledge of data warehousing solutions (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake)
Familiarity with big data frameworks (Hadoop, Spark)
Understanding of data modeling and schema design
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
Problem‑Solving & Communication
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex challenges into elegant solutions.
Excellent communication skills, with experience collaborating across distributed, multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation
Hourly Rate: Up to $150/hour based on experience
