About the role:
You are responsible for ensuring the development of high-quality data engineering products & services, delivered on time and to acceptance criteria.
You will be joining a team with highly-motivated individuals with a strong-growth mindset – professionally and personally! The team is currently working on rolling out a new Data Platform for the entirety of Nintex by utilizing the latest cloud technologies.
This is a one year contract.
Your contribution will be:
You participate actively inagile developmentcycle meetings.
You design, code, and unit test data engineering components and features that can be released / deployed through automation.
You ensure data completeness and correctness through cross-referencing to original data source.
You design and develop ETL’s in line with best practices and techniques for data transformation and storage.
You deliver data engineering functions that ingest, sanitize, and join data from multiple sources.
You create data models that meet the needs of management stakeholders, data scientists, and analysts as required.
You analyze and evaluate data product/output to identify and recommend optimizations as required in its extraction, cleansing, and organization.
You identify and pursue opportunities to create or improve organizational data standards.
You take ownership of assigned work and liaise proactively and collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure quality features are produced on time.
You participate in technical and team interviews as directed and provide clear input into the decision-making process.
You proactively communicate your work and progress to your manager, extended technical team, and stakeholders during the development process, and immediately escalate any product quality or delivery issues.
